What is included in the MK 5.1 speaker package?
Cinema 5.1 includes four MK-103 speakers, one MK-203 center speaker and one SUB-12 powered subwoofer. Compact 5.1 includes five MK-103 speakers and one SUB-12 powered subwoofer. An AV receiver is required and sold separately.
What is the difference between Compact 5.1 and Cinema 5.1?
Cinema 5.1 uses the dedicated MK203 center channel and SUB-12 powered subwoofer. Compact 5.1 uses MK-103 across all five speaker positions with a SUB-12 powered subwoofer for smaller rooms and more flexible placement.
Can the speakers be wall mounted?
Yes. The compact MK speakers are wall-mount ready, so placement can be adapted around the screen and listening position.
Does the system require speaker wiring?
Yes. The five passive speaker channels connect to a compatible AV receiver with speaker wiring, and the powered subwoofer connects separately. The receiver and cables are sold separately.
What room size is this system suitable for?
Compact 5.1 is intended for apartments, bedrooms and smaller living spaces. Cinema 5.1 is the stronger choice for larger living rooms or a more dedicated movie setup.
Is an AV receiver included?
No. An AV receiver is required and sold separately, so you can choose a model that matches your region, room and video needs.
Which finish options are available?
Compact 5.1 is available in Black or White. The White system uses a White MK103 as the center channel because MK203 is not currently available in white.
What should I know about delivery and warranty?
Large MK Series systems ship by ocean freight with an estimated transit time of 15–30 business days after dispatch. Applicable United States import duties and taxes are included in the product price. Arden Audio covers verified transit damage. The one-year limited warranty begins on the delivery date.
